At approximately 3:00pm on Wednesday 22nd June 2016 Gwent Police carried out a search warrant at an address on Nash Road, Newport.
A 19 year old male from the Newport area was arrested on suspicion of intent to supplying class A and B drugs.
He was charged and remanded to Newport magistrates court this morning.

Last weekend, Officers took part in an off-road bike operation on Nantyglo mountain just above West Mon Golf Club.
This is an area has recently been a particular concern for us, with increased reports of motorcycles, quad and 4x4s driving illegally and in an anti-social manner.

A Cardiff man has been banned from all car parks in England and Wales for 10 years – once he has served his two year prison sentence.
Mark Bevan, 34, from Caerau, admitted breaking into six cars across Cardiff and asked for a further 36 similar offences to be taken into consideration when he was sentenced at Cardiff Crown Court earlier this month.

A 44 year old man from the Newbridge area has been charged with possession of a controlled class B drug (Cannabis).
A drugs warrant was executed as an address Pentwyn-Mawr, Newbridge on Monday 11th April.
Six plants were recovered from the address.
The man is due to appear at Cwmbran Magistrates Court on 28th April.

Police in Cardiff have released images of three people they wish to speak to in connection with an assault.
The incident took place inside Kuku Nightclub, Greyfriars Road at approximately 1.45am on Monday 28th March.
A 21 year old female sustained a number of facial injuries and was conveyed to University of Wales Hospital, in which she was later released.

South Wales Police is appealing to the family of the new born baby recovered from the River Taff on 23 June 2015.
This final plea is prior to the burial of the boy, who has been named by the enquiry team as baby Sion.
The renewed and final appeal is to ensure that Sion can be laid to rest with his family name.

A man has been charged with the murder of Clint Simms (pictured) from Ely, Cardiff.
Mr Simms died after being found injured in Ely on Thursday, March 3.

Police are currently searching an area of the River Tawe in Swansea following reports of a man entering the water during the early hours of this morning.
